Bexsero protects against meningitis B, caused by Neisseria meningitidis bacteria. It is recommended for adolescents and young adults, especially those in close living spaces like college dorms. Given in two doses, one month apart, Bexsero helps prevent severe infections, including meningitis and bloodstream infections.
