Shingles Vaccine (Shingrix)

Shingrix protects against shingles (herpes zoster), a painful rash caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus. Recommended for adults 50+ and those with weakened immune systems, it is given in two doses. Shingrix offers strong, long-term protection and reduces the risk of complications like nerve pain (postherpetic neuralgia).
